For every cannabis plant that we harvest at Coast Mountain Cannabis, we will plant one tree. Our pledge is that over the next decade that we plant up to 300,000 trees. Our forests need your help and purchasing cannabis from Coast Mountain Cannabis is supporting the planet’s rejuvenation.
Love of the planet and an appreciation for our natural resources is our most important core value. We focus on reducing the use of natural resources in order to maintain an ecological balance. How do we do that?
At Coast Mountain Cannabis we:
- Do not use any artificial pesticides or fertilizers
- Our waste water is therefore clean and safe to be returned to the earth
- We recycle our organic soil back into community farms and gardens
- Operate using 100% renewable electricity
- Do not use plastic containers for packaging

Why We Are Dedicated to Planting Trees
Trees are quintessential to the well-being of our planet, biodiversity, and reducing the harmful effects of climate change.
Reforestation, the intention of restocking/replanting trees, is identified by scientists as one of the top solutions to the climate crisis.
As a company, we stand behind a cause that truly unites everyone. The environment. There are a lot of great causes to support, but climate change is probably the single most important challenge that deeply impacts us all directly. Moreover, Coast Mountain Cannabis and its employees have deep roots in the Coastal Mountains of British Columbia. One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. Their projects span the globe and are done in partnership with local communities and knowledgeable experts to create an impact for nature, people, and wildlife. Reforestation helps to rebuild forests after fires and floods, provide jobs for social impact, and restore biodiversity. Many projects have overlapping objectives, creating a combination of benefits that contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
